The Falcon GT Club of Geelong was formed in 1988 by a local Falcon GT owner, who assembled together a few like minded mates. The club has since had a steady growth up to it’s current membership state. We are fundamentally a social based group who’s primary mission is the preservation, restoration and enjoyment of the Legendary Falcon GT.

In addition, we have provision within our constitution, to welcome membership for owners of non GT Falcons, provided it is a Ford.

Activities include attending various car shows, weekend cruises, lunches, track days, supporting our two charities with social cruises and of course participation in the Bi-annual Falcon GT Nationals.

We are also affiliated with CAMS and the NAFGTC (National Association of Falcon GT Clubs).

Membership

We are a club made up of genuine Falcon GT owners & Enthusiasts. You don’t need to own a genuine Falcon GT to join our club, owners of any model of Fords are welcome, so long as they have a passion for the Marque.

Membership generally runs at around 110 members. A monthly newsletter helps to keep everybody in touch and up to date on the Club’s activities.

Club benefits include access to the Vic Roads Club Permit Scheme, for eligible vehicles, possible recognition by Insurers for policy discounts, eligibility to enter the Falcon GT Nationals held bi-annually across Australia, along with a wealth of knowledge and assistance to be had from associating with other like-minded GT Falcon and Ford enthusiasts.

When you join the Falcon GT Club of Geelong, you will receive a durable membership card, a Club membership keyring, with your membership number engraved, a Club Polo shirt, and a monthly newsletter to keep you up to date on club activities-swap meets and other motoring activities that the Club will be participating at.

Meetings

Our monthly meeting is held on the second Tuesday of every month at the Fyansford Hotel. Commencing at 7.30pm. The formalities are kept to a minimum with the emphasis on socialising. All guests are welcome to attend!

Wedding Cars

The Falcon GT Club of Geelong Inc. is unable to provide GT Falcons or other vehicles, or to provide advice on the availability of vehicles for use as Wedding Cars.

VIC Roads regulations and insurance requirements limit such services to businesses licenced to carry out such activities.
